Ship’s Steward Training

This training program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to work as a ship's steward. The course covers a wide range of topics related to housekeeping, laundry, and passenger service.

  • Develop housekeeping skills: Participants will learn how to clean and maintain various areas of the ship, including cabins, public spaces, and offices.
  • Learn laundry techniques: Participants will learn how to operate laundry equipment, sort laundry, and ensure proper care of linens and clothing.
  • Provide excellent customer service: Participants will learn how to provide exceptional service to passengers and crew members.
  • Understand maritime regulations: Participants will understand and comply with maritime regulations related to safety, hygiene, and passenger service.
  • Work effectively in a team environment: Participants will learn how to work collaboratively with other ship staff to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
  • Learn how to assist Ship’s Cook to prepare foods and equipments.
  • Manage food waste and sustainability: Participants will learn about food waste reduction strategies and sustainable food practices.
  • Food waste management: Strategies for reducing food waste.
  • Housekeeping techniques: Cleaning and maintenance of various areas of the ship.
  • Laundry procedures: Operating laundry equipment, sorting laundry, and care of linens.
  • Customer service: Providing excellent service to passengers and crew members.
  • Maritime regulations: Safety, hygiene, and passenger service regulations.
  • Personal hygiene: Proper handwashing, hairnets, and other hygiene practices.
  • Cleaning and sanitization: cleaning procedures, sanitizing agents, and disinfection techniques.
  • Temperature control: Proper temperature for storage, cooking, and serving food.
  • Teamwork: Working effectively with other ship staff.
