ECDIS Familiarization Training (SIMRAD System)
COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This training program provides fundamental familiarization with the Simrad ECDIS system, focusing on practical understanding of system interface, basic route planning, safety settings, and operational awareness.
The course is designed to support maritime personnel in developing confidence and competence in using ECDIS as a navigational aid onboard, in line with recognized maritime practices and operational standards.
COURSE OBJECTIVES :
By the end of this training, participants are expected to be able to:
1. System Understanding
* Understand the basic functions and layout of the Simrad ECDIS system
