Dangerous, Hazardous and Harmful Cargoes (HAZMAT) Awareness Training
This training provides participants with essential knowledge of dangerous, hazardous, and harmful cargoes carried in bulk, including cargo classification, hazard identification, IMSBC Code requirements, MHB cargoes, risk controls, and emergency response measures to support safe maritime cargo operations.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
* Understand the principles of IMSBC Code and MHB cargo classification.
* Identify hazards associated with bulk cargo transportation.
* Apply safe loading, carriage, and discharge procedures.
* Recognize cargo documentation and compliance requirements.
* Implement risk mitigation and emergency response measures during bulk cargo operations
