This course provides participants with essential awareness of Hydrogen Sulphide (H?S), including its characteristics, sources, health hazards, detection methods, personal protective equipment, alarm response, safe work practices, and emergency evacuation procedures.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify the properties, sources, and hazards of H?S.
Recognise exposure symptoms and understand basic exposure levels.
Explain the use of gas detectors, alarms, PPE, escape sets, SCBA, and EEBD.
Follow basic H?S risk-control, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.
Understand the importance of company procedures, risk assessment, and Permit to Work requirements.
