Advanced First Response Emergency Care Training – Competency Level 4
Advanced First Response Emergency Care Training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to recognize, assess, stabilize, and manage medical and traumatic emergencies before professional medical services arrive. The course emphasizes rapid assessment, life-saving interventions, trauma care, airway management, oxygen administration, patient monitoring, and safe casualty handling in industrial, maritime, and offshore environments.
Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Apply systematic emergency scene assessment.
2. Perform primary and secondary patient assessment.
3. Manage airway and breathing emergencies.
4. Control life-threatening bleeding.
5. Manage traumatic injuries safely.
6. Recognize and respond to common medical emergencies.
7. Administer oxygen therapy safely (where permitted by company procedures and local regulations).
8. Monitor patient condition until evacuation.
9. Communicate effectively with emergency medical services.
10. Demonstrate confidence in emergency response through realistic practical scenarios.
