INTERNATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT (ISM) CODE TRAINING
This course introduces the ISM Code and its application within a Safety Management System (SMS), covering safe shipboard operations, pollution prevention, personnel responsibilities, emergency preparedness, and continual improvement.
Upon completion, participants should be able to explain key ISM requirements, describe shipboard and shore-based responsibilities, recognize essential SMS procedures, and outline incident reporting, corrective actions, audits, and certification arrangements.
